How to hold your Spring Rod

Off you go, over those drains again, and see if the tip of the rod will rise or fall. In most cases it will rise, but there are always some who do it differently! You may find this is more difficult, but don't give up, it takes practice, that's all. All of a sudden it will happen and you have gained another tool for your Dowsing.

Next comes - THE PENDULUM.

This can be anything that can be suspended on a piece of thread, a button, a heavy bead, a ring, two or three nuts on a piece of cord, a neck pendant or a marble. They can be turned from wood or crafted to suit yourself, as long as it feels balanced and the string is about 4 - 6 inches long. Tie a knot at the top so that your fingers dont drop it.
Sit comfortably, do not cross your legs or ankles.

Hold the string between your thumb and forefinger with the knot resting on your fingers, and gently swing it backwards and forwards. This is to enable the pendulum and you to get some idea of the movement.

Once it is swinging, - with your MIND ALONE, and NOT your hand get it to swing in a circle clockwise. When you have done that get it to swing anti-clockwise.

Now, here comes the GOOFY bit, you have to TALK to your pendulum. Say YES to your pendulum, keep saying YES until it decides which way it will swing. Say NO and your pendulum should swing the opposite way. This needs a lot of practice.

You are now ready to ask it some questions.
Frame your questions so that there is only a YES answer or a NO answer.
The world is now open to you - to find - Lost Objects, Lost Animals, where your water pipes or drains are, underground cables or buildings. What are you looking for?

Just remember you cannot get rich by dowsing - eg: The Lottery, the Horses etc.

HAPPY HUNTING. Beth. G2XG.
