Mid-week was the winner with Thursday being the best day. Saturday and Sunday were generally poor. 6V7L (Senegal) was very popular. From the picture below it does look as though his antennas are in the clear (sky). ZD8LP (Ascension Island) wasn’t far behind, if somewhat removed geographically. 5N9NDPO (Nigeria) also had a good week.

Sun: Blank yet again.
Schools start up next week, although most kids won’t go back till Tuesday or Wednesday as the first day or so is for Teacher training. My own school is having building work done and the kids won’t go back till the following week (if the builders finish the work, haha! [no way José]). I will not be there anyway as I have two weeks compulsory Jury Service at the Crown Court.
And to finish on a good note, Stoke convincingly beat Aston Villa
3 – 2 on their first home game. Good stuff! Middlesbrough this weekend, then a gap for Internationals. AND England hammered South Africa in the 2nd one day-er.
