I have to say right from the start that most of my stats for last Saturday were lost because of a computer glitch whilst I was in the Midlands watching Stoke beat Cardiff. Which is unfortunate as that was half of the 10-10 contest. C’est la vie. And as it happens most of the rest of the week was pants! Sunday wasn’t bad, just sorry for you guys who will not now make the lists for Saturday.
Most popular DX.

Naturally enough there are quite a few Americans shown Sunday, I suppose because 10-10 is an mainly an American Club.

Two hours later he updated with, JL1MUT 5/5, JH7RTQ 5/5, JR3JFZ 5/7, JA3JOT 4/3 and heard 9M6RHM. I might have to give Dave his own slot in these pages. Dave’s in Adelaide, South Australia.
No prizes for guessing which one’s Dave.
Richard, 9W2CBL, in West Malaysia worked BU2AQ 5/9, BG7NWF 5/9, 9W26RHM 5/5, 9W2RZL 3/3,and heard: YB1UUN 5/9, JL1MUT 3/3, VK6ARA 3/3, 9W2FAI 3/3. Thanks for the info Richard it all helps build up a picture

Contests: YLRL YL-OM Contest Sunday 14:00 to Monday 02:00, various QSO Parties on Sunday. During next week Monday 13:00 through to Friday 24:00 is School Club Round Up. I urge you all to try to contact school stations during this time. Amateur Radio needs all the good publicity it can get with the youth of today.
Sun: Blank again. Yesterday, newly discovered asteroid 2008 CT1 flew past Earth only 72,000 miles (0.3 lunar distances) away. Had it struck our planet, the 13-meter wide space rock (similar in size to a school bus) would have done little damage, probably exploding in the atmosphere.
On Thursday, Feb. 7th, the Moon will pass in front of the Sun, producing a solar eclipse over New Zealand, most of Antarctica and parts of Australia. It is not a total eclipse; the Moon will only partially cover the solar disk.
The total lunar eclipse of February 21 2008 will be visible over the Americas, Europe, Africa, and western Asia. More information on this eclipse may be found at Fred Espenak's site.
Update: Tony has since managed to retrieve Saturday and Sunday's data, which may been viewed by clicking here
