Dedication to the cause, pity you missed Sunday as it seemed pretty good although I can only see one VK in the Sunday list.

Bob, K4ESA, says,
“Fourth day in a row of 10 meter Es here in Atlanta. Tonight is the best so far, double hop into CA, AZ. Started working Fl at 7:15 EST (00:15 UTC) , then TX, CO, CA, K4AAK and I am still working Robert WA5JDU at 1:30AM.”
That would be Sunday through to today, Wednesday.

M0BPQ, local to me, says
“Hi Tony, I have been using my SDR on 10m, with CW skimmer monitoring the beacon band. I am often surprised about the level of activity, but assume this is winter Es?”
I would say it certainly seems that way. Lets hope the last few days activity continue.

Sun: One measly sunspot, 1043 that’s all we got! But at least it is the new cycle type.

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has observed a mysterious X-shaped debris pattern and trailing streamers of dust that suggest a head-on collision between two asteroids.

Astronomers have long thought that the asteroid belt is being ground down through collisions, but such a smashup has never been seen before.

Stoke bought a goal keeper in the latest transfer window and managed a draw against Sunderland as well. Blackburn this weekend, a must win.

Our local 70 cm repeater, GB3LV, located in north London (IRLP Node 5600 / EchoLink Node 155403), now has monitor and map pages that enable interested people to see in real time who is/was connected via IRLP or Echolink and where they are.
The info is live and should update itself. These pages are available by clicking on either of the links below:

• GB3LV Monitor

• GB3LV Map
