Sadly low on individual reports this week probably owing to the lack of good conditions.

Mike, KK2DOG asks, “How about a cheap plug for Hamwave”
There it is and so cheap we didn’t charge. (though the Editor may have something to say about that)
From Argentina comes Jose Hector, LU8EML, who says,
“Hi Tony grs.por your homework on 10m, my beacon is a team Realistic HTX-100 20w. The three-element directional antenna oriented to the north northwest yagi from gf15ad, also I have another beacon active EN 50063 kHz in continuous operation with 10w and a vertical antenna 5 / 8 spread is highly variable. I am 65 years and 50 radio. Greetings from Argentina Happy New Year.”
Y feliz año nuevo para ti y su familia tambien. Y gracias para su visita a mis paginas. No puedo escribir mucho in Español porque el jefe (the editor G4TUT) no entiende Español.

Sun: Sunspot 1040 has appeared and is a member of the new cycle. Last Friday when the Moon passed in front of the sun, the lunar diameter was a little too small to completely cover the star behind it. The mismatch produced a lovely ring of fire: From Kenji Karasaki, Hulhule Island Maldives.
Stoke had a poor match against Liverpool, but then Liverpool were also poor. Both teams should have lost so a 1 – 1 draw was about right. Arsenal in the FA Cup next week, bring it on!!
Almost all our snow has gone now, just a small pile where the snowman was.
