Between them TI5N and LU1HF dominated the weekend contest.
Of course quite a number of the stations were multi-multi with specific contest locations.

A superb example is 6Y1V, the Jamaican contest group. Imagine that shack as yours, plus the cricket world cup is about to start in the West Indies next week. Heaven!!

Carl, VR2LH, sent in a report about his mid week activities (well not all his activities obviously). He heard VK7BBB and VK9ZLH and says, “Mid week, and after the band would normally be closed, I managed to work Stuart in Tasmania & Doug on Lord Howe island. Unfortunately conditions were poor over the weekend (at least for me), a few JAs and a handful of weak VKs.” Still more than I got.

Gary M0KLT puts it nicely, “Heard: not much" (still more than me). "Not a great deal to report waiting for the warmer weather to come back so I can put my MA5B up, I have dug a big hole in my garden for a cubic metre of concrete to house the tower. Hope you’re well and this is a great little page. All the best look forward to speaking to you on 10 FM best 73.”

Good stuff Gary, although Liverpool to North London on FM especially at the moment could be difficult.

I see ‘Pool got through on away goals. Tough on Barça but they will survive. Stoke however have allowed a 6 point gap to develop so maybe we’ll make the playoffs next year.

Contests: There’s kind of lots of mini activity stuff especially on Sunday this weekend. There is also the RSGB Commonwealth Contest from 10:00 Saturday to 10:00 Sunday.

Sun: Blank as of today, well yellowy but no spots. Turning swiftly to the eclipse the other night, we had a good view here. My brother David, G8BPQ, who has a good Cannon camera, shot some pics which you can see on the SARC website main page. ‘TUT put them on the wrong order, but it was my fault, I forgot to label them.

However, the main question is why is the last bright bit to disappear at the top (just before totality) and the first bit to reappear (just after totality) on the left, hey, answer that!!
Must write to Sir Patrick Moore.
