OK on asking about my new business. After working in the vehicle industry for 16 years at both Mitsubishi Motors Australia Ltd and General Motors Holden
I am glad to be working for my self, I wish I had done it years ago. I am doing mobile dog washing.
My business is called 'Affordable Mobile Dog Wash'. I have a Hydro Bath, Blow Dryer etc, etc, and I have all the good shampoo's and flea treatments all contained in my van. I will attach a photo for you. I love it, you get to meet great people and dogs - I am a dog person LOL. Work wise it is the best thing I have done.

As you can see in the photo there is heaps of room to install a few antennas on the roof
Hi Hi.
I hope to get at least a dual bander in the van soon. Followed shortly by HF esp 10m but I have to get that past my "financial adviser" Hi Hi.”
The financial adviser wouldn’t be the XYL??
Two good photos from Dave. The sky colour I remember well. We have it here too, but we have -5ºC with severe frost and when I was in Oz it was 28ºC and barbie weather.
From Bob, K4ESA EM74qc, via the 28MHz group came,
“Over here on the west side of ATL the band was open around 23:15 when I got off work. Started with Larry KA9PCU in IL and was up and down into TX, AR, MO, and OK until 04:15 when K4AAK came in. Charles was still hearing beacons from TX at 06:15, but no one was out there to work after 04:30. Worked most of the regulars for this kind of opening including K5FBS, K5CC, N5DAS, and W5DJT. Also, with K4JPC's help worked a station for a new 10-10# that also had a three digit VP#, KE6CX.
Found the tail end of the Shot net, where I think I heard they had 40 something check-ins. I heard WN4AMO just before I first tried to check in, but not after I got in. Worked N5MT, N5XZ and the co-owner of 4th place in the Winter Phone QSO party, WS5H. Always great to hear the gang on .’488. I had over 35 QSOs, and thanks to club doubles, collected 15 new VPs, but only 6 new 10-10 #s. It was the first good opening I have been able to work since I got my VP, so it is easy to knock off new ones right now. I guess the logging software that tracks VP#s is not current with my less than three week old one, because I got ask several times if that was the right number I was giving out. So for those out there keeping track my VP # really is 3327, and I am looking to contact you if you have a VP #, or if you can use my 10-10# to help you get one.”
Looks like we will have to pay for the great E opening with three days of rain, but it was worth it!

Sun: No sunspots facing earthwards this week.
The mystery of Phobos: Something is wrong with Phobos. The Martian moon looks like a solid, but it is not as dense as a rocky solid should be. Some researchers think Phobos might be riddled with vast caverns; others say it is just a "rubble pile" masquerading as a solid body. To solve the mystery, Europe's Mars Express spacecraft is making a series of close Phobos-flybys this month. High-res photos could be available as early as this Wednesday
Well we got put out of the cup by Chelsea. The 2nd half especially they were the better team, poor decision on the ref’s behalf about the corner which gave them the first goal. We really weren’t in it with various team members missing. Tonight we play Burnley and need to beat them to restore confidence.
No one has yet identified the location of the radio operator from last week’s pages.
Our local 70 cm repeater, GB3LV, located in north London (IRLP Node 5600 / EchoLink Node 155403), now has monitor and map pages that enable interested people to see in real time who is/was connected via IRLP or Echolink and where they are.
The info is live and should update itself. These pages are available by clicking on either of the links below:
