A see-saw week. Monday through Friday being exceedingly poor, but 3B7C still out front. Saturday, marginally better but no 3B7C (generator packed up?) and MW0ZZK/P on top.

The rules give you more points if you use an old classic rig (Drake 4 series, KW2000/A/B etc) but in fact you can use any rig. October cometh and it is traditionally a good contest month with CQWW DX at the tail end.

Sun: The sun is blank again. But a high-speed solar wind stream that hitting Earth on Sept. 21st, sparked polar auroras for three nights in a row. This photo was taken out of an airplane window.

Get ready for more: Another stream is en route from the sun, due to arrive on Thursday Sept. 27th.
