It’s a good job FT5GA (Glorioso Is.) was active this week so that folk were at least listening on the 10m. If they hadn’t been, then I think we might have had a couple of days when no contacts were reported. Even Saturday was barren.

CT1JTQ, Angelo, reports that, “This small report is just to inform you the last station I spotted on 10m WSPR mode was G3JKV on September 10 at 1316 Z. After that : a blank, or the absolute silence !”
Yes there are days when even some QRM would be welcome so that you don’t think your receiver is dead or your antenna has fallen down.

Contests: Again this is a bit thin unless you’re into RTTY.

We was robbed at Bolton, the ref. should have given us a penalty! And we robbed Blackpool in the Carling Cup by scoring in the 6th minute of 5 minutes injury time. Man U this Saturday, I fancy us for a win!

Well ‘TUT has the antennas (I lent him a HF portable vertical) and a dual band, 2m – 70cm, collinear but as yet no signals heard. Probably his battery has gone flat or the cat ate his microphone, we’ll find out later.
