Sun: "Finally, the sun seems
to be waking up," says astrophotographer Pete Lawrence. "There is a lot going on around new sunspot 1026. The spot's dark core is surrounded by active fibrils and a swirling magnetic filament that gives the region a nice 3D appearance."
He took this picture using a Solarscope SF70: A second sunspot has appeared, number 1027, and it is growing rapidly. (SpaceWeather.com)
We was robbed at Bolton, the ref. should have given us a penalty! And we robbed Blackpool in the Carling Cup by scoring in the 6th minute of 5 minutes injury time. Man U this Saturday, I fancy us for a win!
Well ‘TUT has the antennas (I lent him a HF portable vertical) and a dual band, 2m – 70cm, collinear but as yet no signals heard. Probably his battery has gone flat or the cat ate his microphone, we’ll find out later.
