TUNISIA, 3V. Special event stations 3V8CB and 3V8ST
are QRV until October 21 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Tunisia
Scouts Amateur Radio Club. Activity is on all HF bands using mainly CW
and SSB. QSL via the bureau.
QATAR, A7. John, VE7BDI is QRV as A7/M0FZQ from Doha.
He is normally active on 40 meters using CW between 0000 and 0200z. QSL
direct.
TAIWAN, BV. Juergen, DJ3KR is QRV as BX3/DJ3KR until
November 5. Activity is on all bands using all modes. QSL to home call.
PORTUGAL, CT. Arlindo, CT1EGW is QRV with special callsign
CT7EPO until October 21 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the JOTA. QSL

ENGLAND, G. Members of the Bittern DX Group are QRV
from Roughton Windmill as GB50RFR until October 21 in celebration of 50
years ofJOTA.
REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HL. In commemoration of the 50th
anniversary of JOTA, look for HL9BSA to be QRV on October 20. QSL via
WX8C.
PANAMA, HP. Members of the Radio Club de Panama will
be QRV with special event station HP1RCP from October 20 and 21 from the
Panama City National Scout Center. QSL via bureau.
ITALY, I. Members of the ARI Genzano team will be QRV
as II050SCOUT from October 20 and 21. QSL via IK0DWN.
BELGIUM, ON. Rich, N0HJZ will be QRV with a semi-rare
prefix as ON9CMV from October 24 to 30. This includes an entry in the
upcoming CQ WW SSB contest. QSL direct to home call. In addition, members
of the UBA section GDV are QRV as ON50JOTA until October to 21 to celebrate
the 50th anniversary of JOTA. Activity is on all HF and V/UHF bands on
the usual Scouting frequencies.
NETHERLANDS, PA. Special event station PA50JOTA is QRV
until October 31 from Nieuweroord to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of JOTA.

POLAND, SP. Special event station HF100SK is QRV from
Skierniewice until the end of 2007 to mark the 100th anniversary of the
scouts in Poland. QSL via SP7ZIA.
EGYPT, SU. Special event SU50JOTA will be QRV from the
Cairo International Scout Centre from October 20 to 21 during JOTA. Activity
will be on 80, 40, 20, 17 and 15 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via SU1KA.
GREECE, SV. Look for HA2VR, HA6NL, HA6PS, HA6ZV, HA7JJS
and HA7PL to be QRV from Thassos Island, IOTA EU-174, as both J48/ and
SV8/homecalls from October 24 to November 8. Activity will be on 80 to
10 meters, including 6 and 2 meters, using CW, SSB, PSK31, Meteor Scatter
and JT6M modes. They also plan to be an entry in the upcoming CQ WW SSB
contest as J48RT as a Multi/Single entry, in
addition to other upcoming contests. QSL J48RT via HA6NL and the others
to home calls.
ST. KITTS AND NEVIS, V4. Scott, NE1RD will be QRV as
V4/NE1RD from St. Kitts, IOTA NA-104, from October 24 to 31. He plans
to run QRP power in the upcoming CQ WW SSB contest. QSL to home call.
LORD HOWE ISLAND, VK9L. Haru, JA1XGI is QRV as VK9GLX
until October 22. Activity is on 40, 30 and 20 meters, and possibly the
lower bands, using CW, SSB and various digital modes. QSL to home call.
NORFOLK ISLAND, VK9N. Jack, VK6CTL is QRV as VK9CNF
until October 25. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using mainly SSB. QSL
direct via HB9QR.
MONTSERRAT, VP2M. Operators K2DM, K3ZM and W4GKA will
be QRV as VP2MDG, VP2MZM and VP2MKA, respectively, from October 24 to
30. They will be active as VP2MDG in the upcoming CQ WW SSB contest as
a Multi/2 entry. Outside the contest, look for VP2MDG and VP2MZM to be
QRV on 6 meters SSB and 160 meters CW, respectively. QSL to home
calls.

Event, UBA ON 2-Meter Contest and the Illinois QSO Party will certainly
keep contesters busy this weekend. The Run for the Bacon QRP CW Contest
is scheduled for October 22.
