TUNISIA, 3V
Francois, F8DVD will be QRV as 3V8SM from the Scout Houm Souk ARC on Djerba
Island, IOTA AF-083, from August 28 to 31. Activity will be on 80 to 10
meters using CW and SSB, propagation permitting. QSL direct to home call.
GUINEA, 3X
UA6JR and RW3AZ will be QRV as 3XM6JR and 3XD2Z, respectively, beginning
August 29 and continuing for several years. Activity will be on 160 to
6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY, SSTV and PSK. They will use 3XY3AZ in contests.
UA6JR plans to be QRV from islands AF-096 and AF-051. QSL direct via UA6JR.
CROATIA, 9A
HB9TQF plans to be QRV as 9A8TQF from August 28 to September 9.
PAKISTAN, AP
Ijaz, AP2IA is usually QRV on 20 meters using CW most days from around
1330 to 1500z.
URUGUAY, CX
Pedro, CX5BW has been QRV on 160 meters from around 0100 to 0300z.
SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS
DT8A has been QRV on 30 meters around 2030z.
SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, E5
Victor, E51CG has been QRV on the Family Hour DX Net on 14245 kHz the
past few days.
CANARY ISLANDS, EA8
Frank, DH5JG will be QRV as EA8/DH5JG from Lanzarote Island, IOTA AF-004,
from August 30 to September 12. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using
CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. He will also participate in the upcoming IARU
Region 1 SSB Field Day and WAEDC SSB contests. QSL to home call.
FRANCE, F
Several members of the F5KDK ARS will be active as TM5F from Frioul Island,
IOTA EU-095, from August 25 to 27. Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters
using CW and SSB. QSL via F1IKA.
ENGLAND, G
Members of the International Shortwave League are QRV as GB6SWL in celebration
of their 60th Diamond Anniversary from Bagulay.
REPUBLIC OF KOREA, HL
Kang, DS4DRE is QRV as DS4DRE/4 from Hong Island, IOTA AS-093, until the
end of the year. Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL
direct to home call.
SAUDI ARABIA, HZ
Sulaiman, 7Z1SJ has been active using CW on 20 meters around 1600z. QSL
via EA7FTR.
BULGARIA, LZ
Special event station LZ1900K is QRV to mark 1900 years since the founding
of the ancient city of Pautalia, which is modern Kyustendil. QSL via LZ1BJ.
SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS
Oleg, R1ANF/p has been QRV on 20 meters around 1900z and then 30 meters
after 2000z. QSL via RK1PWA.
GREECE, SV
Iiario, IV3CGJ will be QRV as SV8/IV3CGJ/p from Kefallonia, IOTA EU-052,
from August 26 to September 3. QSL to home call.
BENIN, TY
TY5ZR has been QRV on 30 meters around 1830z. QSL via IK2IQD.
NAMIBIA, V5
Vladimir, UA4WHX is QRV as V51VV and has been active on 80 meters using
CW around 0130z. QSL direct to home call.
ANGUILLA, VP2E
Gordon, N5AU is QRV as VP2E and has been active on 15 meters around 1900
to 2200z. QSL direct to home call.
THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO

Japan CW Contest, SCC RTTY Championship, Ohio QSO Party, SARL HF CW Contest
