EU-008. (Early Announcement) Colin, MM0NDX, states that
he will activate IOTA EU-008 for sure during the 2008 IOTA Contest (July
26-27th). He will use the callsign MM0NDX/p but has not yet decided which
island he will activate: Gigha Island (EU-008, IOSA NH-24, SCOTIA CS-23)
Kerrera Island (EU-008, IOSA FL-02, SCOTIA CN-02)
Colin will update the information in the coming year. QSL
direct only to his home callsign.
EU-137. Ric, DL2VFR, informed OPDX that the team closed
the operation down on October 13th with 6825 contacts from Ven Island.
Please note thei QSL routes: SD7T via DL2RTK
SD7V via DL2VFR SD7W via DL2SWW QSL via the bureau (or direct if absolutely
necessary). Do not send a QSL to the SM-QSL-Bureau. They will not be answered.
SM7DAY/p of course confirms via the SM-QSL-bureau.
NA-128. (Update/Zone 2 Op). Three members of the Magnolia
DX Association (MDXA) and two other operators will activate Orleans Island
(QC-007)as VE3ZF/2 (CW and SSB) and W5GED/VE2 (RTTY and PSK) between October
18-21st.
Also. look for them to be in the 2007 W/VE Islands QSO Party (October
20-21st) as VE2IDX. The group will then head to Zone 2 (Port Cartier)
and be active as VE2Z for CQ World-Wide DX SSB Contest (October 27-28th).
Operators mentioned are: Igor/VE3ZF/VE2IDX (MDXA - Team Leader), Ken/
VE3FDX, Travis/W5GED (MDXA), Bill/K5YG (MDXA) and Eugene/N2AA. QSLs for
VE2IDX and VE2Z are via VE3ZF, by the Bureau or direct to: Igor Slakva,
105 La Rose Avenue, PH # 1410, Etobicoke, Ontario, M9P 1A9, CANADA. QSL
all others callsigns via their home callsign.
