Island activities:
AS-027, R0K, Vrangelya (Vrangel) Island: There is a good possibility that
Vrangel Island will show up on the bands by the end of August.
The team will try to activate AS-027 during the expedition of the"Akademik Fedorov" to put up the drifting polar base SP36. The calls
will be UE0MAC/0, UA6LP/0 and RZ6MZ/0 but the exact date of the
operation depends on the Arctic weather.
EU-017, ID9, Eolie (Lipari) Islands: Marco,ID9/IZ3GNG, is working from
Lipari Island (IIA ME-001) from Aug 20-22. QSL via homecall.
EU-048, F, Bretagne (Morbihan) Region Group: The French "Sevran F5KKD ARC
Gulls Team" plans an activity as F5KKD/p from Belle-Ile-en-Mer (AT-015)
from Aug 20-24. QSL via F5KKD (direct/bureau).
EU-068, F, Bretagne (Finistere SW) Region: David,F4FDA/p, Dimitri,F0FLH/p,
and Bastien,F4EYQ/p, are working from Sein Island (AT-007) from
Aug 20-24. QSL via F5KKD (bureau/direct).
