Island activities:

EU-043, SM, Nordkoster Island: 8S6KOS will be QRV from May 29 until Jun 1. QSOs count for the "Salt Water Award" (aka "Worked All SM6 Islands"). The QSL manager for 2008 is SM6WET (bureau/direct).

EU-052, SV8, Zakynthos: A German group is conducting an IOTA/SOTA DXpedition to Zykanthos signing SY8B from Jun 1-6. During this time they will also make their SOTA activit from SV/IO-004. DL7BMG, DL7VDC, DL8RO, DL7WS and DL7BW will run several stations in CW, SSB and PSK. Further details can be found on their website: http://www.darc.de/d20/index2.htm

KL7, Alaska: Hugh,K6HFA, is going to activate three different IOTA groups between May 27 and Jun 18:
May 27-Jun 2: Hinchinbrook Island NA-042
Jun 3-Jun 10: Shumagin Group NA-087
Jun 12-Jun 18: Neragon Island NA-241
Listen for Hugh using an amplifier and a vertical dipole array in SSB on 7078, 14153, 18122 kHz and in CW on 7016, 7041, 14018, 14041, 10112 and 18082 kHz. QSL via K6HFA, direct or bureau.

Lighthouse activities (WLOTA/ARLHS)

AF-04, EA8, Hierro Island: The "Teide DX Group" will activate the lighthouse Orchilla (LH-2005/CAI-066) on Hierro Island from May 30 until Jun 1.
EG8FOR will work in CW/SSB/FM/digital modes on HF, 2m and 6m. QSLs via bureau or direct to EA8NQ.

CT, Portugal: Several members of the "Algarve DX Group" will put seven lighthouses on the air on the weekend of May 31/Jun 1:
