Island activities:
AF-004, EA8, Canary Islands:
Jari,EA8/OH1BOI, is working from the island of
Lanzarote (DIE S-007) until Apr 4. QSL via homecall (direct/bureau).
EU-049, SV, North Aegean Islands:
A Greek team will be active as SX8P from
Samos Island from Apr 3-12. QSL via SV8CYV (direct/bureau).
EU-171, OZ, Vendsyssel-Thy, Jylland North Group:
Ela,OZ7TM (DL1TM), and
Tor,5P4MG (DJ4MG), will be QRV in SSB on 160m/80m/40m/20m/15m and in
PSK31 on 40m/20m from Apr 5-16. They will use a Spiderbeam and a
160m loop. QSLs via homecalls. Check also: http://dj4mg.dyndns.org
NA-066, W6, CA State South Group:
The Palos Verdes Amateur Radio Club will
show up as K6PV from Santa Catalina Island from Apr 1-5. QSL via K6PV.
NA-186, VY0, Nunavut (Hudson Bay-Manitoba Coast):
Cezar,VE3LYC, plans to
activate Fox Island as VY0A between Mar 31 and Apr 3. QSL via homecall.
NA-192, VE8, NWT West Group:
John,VE8EV, Wally,VE8DW, and Gerry,VE8GER, will
be QRV as VX8X in SSB/CW mostly on 40m, 20m and 17m from Apr 2-5. This
operation was originally planned to take place by mid March.
