IOTA News
13 April, 2009
Island activities:
EU-010. After a very successful DXpedition in 2008 to the Island of Mull,
the members of the Camb-Hams have decided to go to the Island of

energetic climbers activating SOTA summits all week.
The callsign
will be the CRG (Cambridgeshire Repeater Group) callsign G3PYE,
as the activation is in Scotland the prefix becomes GM3PYE/P or
GS3PYE/P, both of which will be used.
They plan to be active
during the week starting April 20th, possibly starting Saturday
April 18th through April 25th.

A special stamp showing the lighthouse was released by Canada
Post in 1984. The lighthouse is 54 feet high and is the main
attraction on the island. It is open to the public, and there
is also an inn where you can stay overnight. Any money received
through their QSL manager will be given to the Corporation des

restoration of the lighthouse.
