IOTA News

Island activities:

AS-047. Operators Mitsu/7N4AGB, Hase/JK1EBA, Shoji/JJ1JGI, JA1XEQ and Nakayama/JA1KJW will be active as homecall/6 from Kita-Daito Island (JIIA AS-047-001, WLOTA 0928), JA6 Okinawa Prefecture, between June 25th and July 5th. Activity will be on 160-6 meters, but mainly on the lower bands using CW and SSB. QSL via their home calls, direct or Bureau.

AS-159. Ozer, TA2RC, will be active as YM0T from Kefken Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th) as a Single-Op/All-Band/Mixed/24H/Low-Power entry. QSL via TA2RC.

EU-034. Operators Harald/ES1LS, Arvo/ES1QV, Juri/ES2EZ, Toivo/ES2DJ and Mati/ES2QN will be active as ES0U from Saaremaa Island, Estonia, during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). QSL via the Bureau.

EU-048. Members of the French Sevran F5KKD ARC will be active as F5KKD/p from Belle Ile Island (DIFM AT-015, WLOTA 0078, DPF 06) between September 11-14th. Activity will be on the HF, VHF and UHF bands.

EU-049. Operators Cuagn/OK2BOB and Vilem/OK2BC will be active as SV8/homecall/p from Lesvos Island (Lesbos, Mytilini) between 0700z, June 22nd and 0400z, July 2nd. From Grid Loc. KM39, activity will be on all bands using CW and SSB (Primary bands are 40/30/20/17 meters).

14040, 18078, 18088, 21018, 24908, 24912, 28018, 28033,
and 50090-50097 kHz (+/- QRM)

24955, 28485 and 50125-50135 kHz (+/- QRM)

EU-064. Jan, ON7JA, will be active as F/ON7JA from Ile de Noirmoutier (DIFM AT-020, WLOTA 1224), July 25-27th. Activity will include an entry in the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). QSL via his home callsign, direct or by the Bureau. PLEASE NO eQSL!

EU-123. Iain, MM0TFU, will be active as MM0TFU/P from Blackwaterfoot, Isle of Arran (IOSA CL01, SCOTIA CS14), Scotland, between July 24-27th. Activity will include the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). Outside the contest he will be active on all HF bands plus 6 meters (Grid IO75IM). QSL via his home callsign, direct or by the Bureau.

EU-130. Matteo, IV3YNB, will once again be active as IV3YNB/p from Grado Island (IIA GO-001, MIA MI-039) between June 27th and July 11th. His activity will be QRP on CW and BPSK31 on as many bands as possible, randomly during the daytime. QSL via his home callsign, by the Bureau or direct ("free, don't send money"). NA-137. Mark, KO1U, will be active from Cousins Island (USI ME041S, Cumberland county), Maine, between 1000z, July 25th and 2300z, July 26th. He also plans to activate Little John Island (Also NA-137 and Cumberland county, but USI ME065S) during the same day. Mark will use verticals for 80-10m, and a 3 element yagi on 6 meters with 100 watts. Look for activity on or near the IOTA frequencies with his focus mainly on the RSGB IOTA Contest either on CW or SSB. QSL via his home callsign.

EU-149. Operators Alan/G0RCI, Pete/M0USY, Harry/G7DEH, Alan/G4VUA and Brian/M0JNC will be active as GB0YG from Holy Island (Ynys Gybi), Wales, between June 24-29th. Activity will be on the HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL direct only to G0RCI.

EU-170. Jernej, S59KM, will be active as 9A/S59KM from Ugljan Island (ACIA IC-339, CIA-53, IOCA CI-134, MIA MC-441) between June 25th and July 2nd. Activity will be on 60/40/20/15/10/6/2 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via his home callsign, direct or by the Bureau.

NA-081. Operators Ken/W8ND, Butch/N8CHS and Kelly/K8MCN will be active as W8ND/VE1 from Big Tancook Island (CISA NS012, WW Loc. FN74WL), Nova Scotia, between July 23-26th. Activity will include the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 25-26th). QSL via K8MCN, direct or by the Bureau.

NA-099. Members of the Fajardo Amateur DX Club, KP4DXC, will be active from Culebra Island (USI PR002, WLOTA 0549), between 1500z, June 26th and 2300z, June 28th. The group will use basic radio equipment for this operation such as basic antennas like dipoles and home brewed Buddistick antennas for 40-6 meters and also a vertical for 80m. Jose, KP4VP, will be one of the operators and expects to operate mostly CW and Digital modes. QSL via KP4VP or KP4DXC, direct or by the Bureau.
