NA-186. Cezar, VE3LYC, is planning a DXpedition
to one of the most wanted IOTAs in the world called Fox Island.
Cezar states, "This IOTA group has only been activated very
briefly 16 years ago and being in demand by 97% of the IOTA
members sits at #1 on the Most Wanted NA-IOTA List.
He announced
this past week that the callsign to be used for the DXpedition
will be VY0A and has been approved by Industry Canada. He will
be traveling to the island between March 31st and April 3rd.
Cezar will use an IC-7000 (100w) and a multi-band vertical
antenna, focusing on 20/30/40 meters, CW and SSB. Look for
updates to appear on QRZ.com at: http://www.qrz.com/db/VY0A
Cezar is looking for support. Costs associated with this
operation are considerable, and both group and individual
