EU-064, F: F4ELJ/p is working from Noirmoutier from Apr 30 until May 7.

EU-076, LA: The QLF-DX-Team members LA5UKA and LA9VDA will show up in CW,
SSB and RTTY on 10m-80m signing LA6Q between Apr 29 and May 1.

EU-108, GM: A group of the GMDX club is going to activate the
Treshnish Isles (IOSA NH17) from Apr 28 until May 1. They will work
with two stations, amplifiers and verticals signing GB5TI in CW, SSB
and RTTY on 10m-80m. QSL via LoTW or direct to MM0BQI.

EU-123, GM/MM, Scottish Coastal Islands:
Two members of the "Camb Hams" will
be QRV as GS3PYE/p and GS6PYE/p from Arran (IOSA CL-01, SCOTIA CS-14)
from May 1-8. QSLs for both calls via M0VFC (bureau/direct).
EU-146, PA: The special event call PD04ISLE celebrates the 4th anniversary
of the nature reserve on Tiengemeten Island during the whole month
of May. QSL via PD2GCM (bureau/direct).

EU-172, OZ: Noel,OZ/OO4O, activates Fyn Island (DIA FY-001, WLOTA 2690)
mostly in SSB from May 1-6. QSL via ON bureau and via LoTW.
NA-221, XE: XF2P will show up from Lobos in the Gulf of Mexico between
Apr 29 and May 2. Only 17 % of all IOTA chasers have this group
confirmed already. QSL via XE1P (bureau/direct).

The year 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of the IOTA
Programme. As a build-up to the celebrations on this occasion, an
exciting activity period has been announced in which all licensed
amateurs world-wide are invited to participate.
For a two-year period
during 2012 and 2013 IOTA chasers are encouraged to contact as many
different IOTA groups as possible and IOTA activators to play their
part by operating from as many groups as possible, with special
emphasis on the less-frequently activated ones. The points system
adopted rewards 'Activators' with higher scores for activating the
rarer IOTA groups. Certificates and awards will be available to both
'Chasers' and 'Activators' to reflect attainment of graduated bands of
performance together with attractive prizes for top scorers.
The Marathon starts on 1 January 2012.
