Radio hams participate in Brazilian Space Agency workshop
Radio amateurs in Brazil participated in a Workshop held by the Brazilian Space Agency on Small Educational Satellites
A translation of a LABRE post reads:
From November 29 to December 3, 2021, the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) held a Workshop on Small Educational Satellites. The event was organized in partnership with the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), The Brazilian Satellite Olympiad (OBSat) and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations (MCTI).
The goal was to promote interest in the areas of science and technology using small satellites as a teaching tool. To date, more than 800 students from secondary and higher education are enrolled in elementary the Workshop.
LABRE, through the AMSAT-BR initiatives and Radio Amateur in Schools, supported the Workshop with the realization of a lecture on the theme Spatial Communications given by Edson Pereira, PY2SDR.
