USA-UK third-party agreement

The ARRL website reports that the USA licensing authority, the FCC, is soon expected to update its list of countries with which American amateurs may exchange third-party traffic to include all amateur stations in the United Kingdom.

Until now only special event stations using the GB prefix had been permitted to exchange 'Greetings Messages' with amateurs in the USA.

Unfortunately no-one from the UK licensing authority, Ofcom, was available to confirm this development.
