Special Event StationThe Green Valley Amateur Radio Club, Green Valley AZ, will be conducting a special event station operation on Saturday, 9 April. The theme of the event is Community Emergency Awareness, with emphasis
on the contribution of Amateur Radio, and GVARC in particular, to emergency
services. In addition to HF operation (see April QST, p.98), special event station N7GV will be active on AO-51 at approximately 1732-1746 UTC, and on SO-50 at approximately 1843-1857 GMT, looking for contacts from grid square DM41. A special certificate will be available, free of charge, to anyone working the station. Please send SASE with your QSL card to Gene Schouweiler, W0KAD, 214 N.
