VK2IMD Special Event StationThe Hornsby & Districts Amateur Radio Club and the Wahroonga Amateur Historical Radio Association will be operating a special event station for International Marconi Day. Wahroonga was the location of the first contact between Britain and Australia - between Guglielmo Marconi in Carnarvon, Wales and Ernest Fisk at Wahroonga, New South Wales. Active as VK2IMD for the full 24 hours (GMT) 23rd April, on all bands
