Marconi - the Irish connection

Radio Experimenters are in for a treat on Wednesday next April the 13th, when an illustrated lecture entitled "Marconi - the Irish connection" will be given by Professor Michael Sexton at the Old City Gaol and Radio Museum in Sundays Well in Cork City.

Professor Sexton recently published a book on Marconi's
activities in Ireland and will cover in detail all of Marconi's installations in Ireland. This very interesting presentation should not to be missed. An added bonus is that the Radio Museum will open specially for those attending the lecture from seven o'clock and Larry EI8FJB will be on hand to guide visitors around the excellent displays.

The lecture starts at eight O'clock and admission to the museum and lecture will cost five euro. The event is being organised by Region 5 of the Irish Radio Transmitters Society. Enquiries to Dave Moore EI4BZ on 087-6290574.
