Deputy Chairman Hooper to leave OfcomThe RSGB has learned that Ofcom’s Deputy Chairman Richard Hooper is to leave the organisation at the end of the year. Richard Hooper recently chaired a high level meeting between the RSGB and Ofcom which discussed the future of amateur radio licensing. The RSGB was encouraged by Richard Hooper’s personal assurances that the deregulation of amateur radio was not on Ofcom’s agenda.
