The Canterbury Convention 2006 Award

The Canterbury Convention 2006 Award - The New Zealand Ministry of Commerce has given permission to use the callsign ZL6CAN.

Running 22nd April to 4th June 2006 inclusive the award is available to all Amateur and Short-wave Listeners.

ZL stations require 25 points from the Special Event station ZL6CAN (5 pts) also Canterbury Club stations of NZART: -

Christchurch Amateur Radio Club; 05 ZL3AC - 4 points
Ashburton Branch; 01 ZL3AF - 4 points
North Canterbury Amateur Radio Club; 68 ZL3RR - 4 points
Christchurch West Amateur Radio Club; 56 ZL3VV - 4 points
Cards; ZL3CAR- 4 points
In addition Canterbury stations contacted - 1 point

Overseas stations require only six points, with no compulsory contact required.
