Radio Scouts 'On-Air with GB2SSG to celebrate St George's Day

Suffolk Radio Scouts will be on air using GB2SSG (Suffolk Scouts George) at Hallowtree Scout Camp-site this coming Saturday.

We will try to be on for the Scout Net at 0900 on 3.740 +QRM and will carry on from there. Please give us a call, we intend to work on 80, 40 and 20 or 17 metres depending on conditions, we expect to finish around 1600hrs.

We will not have email but you can phone/text on 07930 730034 on the day. We will also be on 2 metres SSB and FM, and will try to listen to M0SIX-L echolink node number 265297.

We expect several of our experienced 2E0/1 Scouts to be with us and supported by some of our new M3s and other Radio Scouts who are not yet licenced. We will probably be drawing 'power' from our Scout powered exercise bike
in case the mains fails.
