NASA TV covers arrival of resupply ship to Space StationThe residents of the International Space Station will receive a new shipment of food, fuel and supplies on April 26, and NASA TV will broadcast its arrival live. Aboard the station, Expedition 13 Commander Pavel Vinogradov RV3BS and Flight Engineer and NASA Science Officer Jeff Williams KD5TVQ have settled in for six months in space. They will stand by as the Progress resupply craft automatically docks to the aft port of the Zvezda Service Module at approximately 1:52 p.m. EDT on April 26. NASA TV coverage of the arrival starts at 1 p.m. EDT. The cargo ship will bring two-and-one-half tons of supplies for Vinogradov and Williams. It will launch at 12:03 p.m. EDT April 24 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. NASA TV will not broadcast the launch. A NASA International Space Station status report will be issued following the launch. This will be the 21st Progress cargo craft to launch to the station. The previous Progress is attached to the station's Pirs Docking Compartment and will remain there until it is jettisoned in June.
