Former RSGB president becomes Silent Key

It is with sadness that we inform you of the death of John Case, GW4HWR.

John was RSGB President in 1991 and, before retiring from Society affairs in the mid-1990s, was the long serving Chairman of the RSGB Training and Education committee.

As Chair of that committee, John led the team responsible for the introduction of the Amateur Radio Novice licence and was the author of a number of RSGB training guides and other publications.

John's funeral will take place at 3.00pm on Monday 24 April 2006 in the Wenolt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium, Thornhill Road, Cardiff
