RSGB members take part in US ARDF championship

Three RSGB members recently took part in the USA Amateur Radio Direction Finding Championships, held in the William B Umstead State Park near Raleigh, North Carolina.

Steve Stone, RS193217, competed in the over-50s men category, while Bob Titterington, G3ORY, and Robert Vickers, G3ORI, participated in the over-60s men class.

The team put in a respectable performance, Steve winning his 3.5MHz event and coming third in the 144MHz section. Robert came second in his 3.5MHz section and third in the 144MHz event.
