The Bath Intermediate Course DVD Set

To meet the demand for Amateur Radio Intermediate Training Course material in DVD format, Paul G4DCV has very generously offered to supply a set of 8 DVD's of a training course for just £7.

I'm sure these videos will be of benefit to all Foundation holders who wish to upgrade to Intermediate. BTW note Pauls comments about the picture quality, these are VHS tapes transfered to DVD.

I sent Paul a cheque for £10 for my set as I don't regard all the work involved in churning out DVD's then packaging and posting them as a fun task.

73 Trevor M5AKA

In the winter of 2003 Steve Hartley G0FUW and other RSGB registered instructors taught an amateur radio Intermediate Licence Course in Bath.

The classes were videoed and are available to individuals and amateur radio clubs in order to support study towards the Intermediate examination.

The videos are of 8 classes which work through the topics in the Intermediate manual and there is also material of the students carrying out the practical exercises required by the syllabus. Each class lasts between one hour and 90 minutes and so there is a total of about 12 hours of material.

Sets of DVDs are available at £7.00 for all 8 DVDs including UK postage and packing. Please note that these are not professionally produced video recordings and they have been copied to DVD from VHS originals so the picture may be a little rough at times. The DVDs are supplied on DVD+R discs in paper sleeves, jewel cases are not included.

Course organisers please note. The disks are not copy protected and can be duplicated in any computer with a DVD writer. If you wish to obtain several sets for your candidates please order one set and make multiple copies yourself.

The material on these DVDs may be distributed freely and on a non-profit making basis to students and instructors involved in the UK Intermediate amateur radio licence course. It remains the copyright of Steve Hartley and this material may not be sold or distributed for profit.

Disclaimer.
Please note that these are not professionally produced video recordings and they have been copied to DVD from VHS originals so the picture may be a little rough at times. The DVDs are supplied on DVD+R discs in paper sleeves, jewel cases are not included. Although the classes taught were up to date at the time, these recordings are offered in good faith, and while they were believed to me a true reflection of the syllabus as it stood at the time, neither G0FUW nor G4DCV accept any responsibility for any incorrect information contained in the videos. Students must check the current textbook and syllabus to be sure that they are up to date.
