CARS celebrates Marconi's birthday

Chelmsford Science and Industry Museum is open to the public on selected days during the year and this event was to celebrate Marconi's Birthday, which is on the 25th April.

The Chelmsford Amateur Radio Society (CARS) was invited to provide an Amateur Radio Station to show the public what personal radio communications is all about.

• The Amateur Radio International Marconi Day (IMD) takes place a week later on 28th April. CARS will also be running a station that day at Sandford Mill, but it will not be open to the general public
