Scarborough Reef team hit rough seas

As at around 0300Z this morning (27 April), the team was located approximately 240 nautical miles north west of Scarborough Reef and making less than the expected progress because of extremely rough seas.

The sea has been rough since departure from Hong Kong and the team is staying as quiet and still as possible in an effort to reduce exhaustion.

Current estimated arrival to BS7 is their Sunday morning local time.

Because of rough seas, there has been NO MARITIME MOBILE operation.
