Agalega and St Brandon IslandsThe surprise of the week is the upcoming activity from Agalega (AF-001) from Apr 14-17. Rachid, 3B8FQ, is holding a license in his hands and wants to hit the airwaves as 3B6FQ for about 48 to 72 hours. He will be QRV mainly in SSB on 80-10m but sometimes also in CW. Rachid hopes to hit the airwaves with his battery powered 70 watt transmitter and simple antennas on Apr 14 around 1830 UTC.
