DARC at Dayton

After some years of absence the Deutscher Amateur Radio Club (DARC) will again be represented officially at the Dayton Hamvention 2008.

Joerg Jaehrig, DJ3HW (DARC IARU Liaison Officer), and Dennis Haertig, DL7RBI (DARC Secretary of International Affairs), will be on the scene.

Important contacts to other IARU Region 1 officers, as well as to International Society representatives will be made. On the other hand the contact to people in Dayton will be one of the most important things to do in Dayton.

Another "goodie" for visitors will be a short 15 minute lecture on "60 years of WAE-award - the WAEDC and the WAG-Contests" in the ARRL Movie Room, held by DJ3HW.
