Elvaston Castle Rally cancelled

Jim G0EJQ, the RSGB Regional Manager for East Midlands, Region 13, has posted the following information on the RSGB East Midlands area website:

I have just been informed by the Elvaston Castle Committee that this year's rally has been cancelled.

This is due to rising costs and the decline of Radio Amateurs coming through the gates.

There will be an annoucement on GB2RS and a statement in Radcom, in due course.

As you all know Elvaston Castle was the 2nd biggest Rally in the East Midlands.
