Simple circuit to beat receiver interferenceVU2ATN had been experiencing severe problems in HF operation owing to continuous interference from passenger lifts and various power appliances in his QTH which is a part of a large apartment block. In fact Atanu had even considered giving up ham radio because he had not been able to copy signals with signal strength less than +9. What to do? The result? Very encouraging and the cancelling system, using a simple circuit and a noise antenna, has been working pretty well. Atuna, VU2ATN can reiterate that VK5BR's solution is really very good and can
certainly be copied by city-dwellers like him and still pursue ham radio. You can read Lloyd VK5BR's article by clicking here Source: Wireless Institute of Australia
