New Zealand 3.4-3.6 GHz spectrum auction

The results of Round 2 of New Zealand's 3.4 - 3.6 GHz spectrum auction have been announced.

Round 2 of the allocation of 3.5 GHz Crown-retained radio spectrum for broadband wireless access has drawn to a close following the successful tender of eight further licence lots.

The results of the assignment of 77 area spectrum licences are:
32 uncontested lots were sold at the reserve price
8 contested lots were sold at tender, and
37 lots were unsold.

Successful applicants have been notified and are proceeding to settlement.

Lots for which no application has been received may be allocated at a later date.
