SDR receiver on the web

Take a look at this new web-based software defined radio.

Run by the University of Twente's amateur radio club in the Netherlands, the system allows you to tune over either the 40 or 80 metre bands.

What makes this system different from other web-based receivers is, that thanks to the use of Software-Defined Radio technology, this receiver can be tuned by multiple users simultaneously.

When tuning around a band, you can either enter a frequency directly, or click-drag on the frequency scale. Bandwidth can also be controlled, either by the button options, or by click-dragging on the passband edges of the frequency scale.

The web page also features a log book, a list of connected users and a chat facility. Additional bands are planned for the future.

All in all, a very impressive system, and well-worth a look.  Click here
