Opportunistic Radio CommunicationsMobile handsets are currently restricted to certain frequencies. Opportunistic Radio Communications in unLicensed Environments (ORACLE), aims to develop the core technology that will enable handsets to automatically search out a quieter bit of radio spectrum and transmit over it. The ORACLE project has received funding under the ICT strand of the EU’s Sixth Framework Programme.
