SA Armour Museum on the air

The Bloemfontein Radio Amateur Club has been asked to operate ZS4AFV on behalf of the SA Armour Museum from the Bloem Show, over the period 30 April to 9 May.

ZS4AFV is the call sign of the SA Armour Museum.

The museum will have a number of military vehicles, armaments and uniforms on display at the show.

The Bloemfontein RAC has been asked to set up a display of military radios, from the No. 19 radio set, to modern transceivers. In addition, the station will be operated using some of these radios.

Activity will be on HF and VHF. QSL via the bureau and the SARL Electronic QSL system.
