Saluting the heroesIan, G3ZHI spotted this interesting amateur radio story on the UK regulator Ofcom's website. In an article called 'Saluting the heroes', it tells the story of Somerset amateur radio enthusiast Viv Morris who was given permission by Ofcom to operate the special event call sign of GB90WWI in memory of those who lived and died in the 1914-1918 war.
