SOTA Weekend planned will boost activity

An International Summits On The Air Weekend is to be held on 2 and 3 May.

Although every weekend sees increased levels of SOTA activity throughout Europe, it is hoped that this event will see many summit-to-summit contacts between different SOTA associations and give chasers the chance to work activators from several different DXCC entities.

The SOTA alerts page on the SOTA website will be used, as normal, for activators to advise which hills they propose to operate from.

Summits On The Air, or SOTA, is an awards programme for radio amateurs who operate portable from mountain summits and hilltops.
