Swiss Cube launch news

The HB9AFO website carries further news on the launch status of the Amateur Radio satellite SwissCube-1 that is likely to launch between late May and mid June

The site reports that on April 22 the satellite was sealed in its final packaging ready for flight. It will be launched by the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C14) from the Sriharikota Space Center in India.

The satellites 436.505 MHz downlink will be either a CW beacon or 1200bps data, presumably AX.25. The website says the signal must be received as an AFSK signal using SSB. There will be an FM data uplink in the satellite segment of 2 metres.
