Wind Farm interference

Ofcom have published a document about the effects of interference to UHF & SHF communications by Wind Farms.

The report, by ERA Technology Ltd and Aegis Systems Ltd, describes a technical study undertaken on behalf of the UK regulator, Ofcom, in which a series of measurements were carried out with regard to the presence of wind turbines near to wireless services. The purpose of the study was to enhance understanding of the effects of wind turbines near to wireless services
