Radio ham arrested at airport

Radio Ham Joseph Sean McVey, K8JSM, was arrested in a parking lot at Asheville airport, North Carolina, as Air Force One was leaving. Barack Obama had been on vacation in the state.

The vehicle driven by Sean K8JSM could be described as high profile with its "Ham Radio" licence plate, clear strobe lights, radio equipment, multiple antennas and a camera mounted on the dash.

Apparently it was these things that raised Airport safety officers suspicions. He also had a hand gun but did have a concealed weapons permit.
