Contest News from the RSGB

The wonderfully-named YO DX contest is in operation from 1200UTC on 27 August to 1200UTC on 28 August on bands 3.5-28MHz – CW and SSB modes. RSTs and serial numbers needed.

The RSGB SSB Field Day is taking place from 1300UTC on 3 September until 1300UTC on 4 September on the 3.5-28MHz bands. RS and serial numbers required.

VHF contesters should look out for three RSGB 144MHz contests taking place in early September. These are the RSGB 144MHz Trophy (taking place from 1400UTC on 3 September to 1400UTC on 4 September), the RSGB 144MHz Backpackers (1100UTC-1500UTC on 4 September) and the RSGB 144MHz Activity and Club Championship (2000UTC-2230UTC on 6 September). All modes are covered and RSTs, serial numbers and locators are required for each tournament.
