Auction of a gold Bird

Bird Electronic Corporation is celebrating the milestone of the manufacture of its 300,000th Model 43 Thruline Wattmeter.

To commemorate this milestone, this specific unit produced with a special gold-plated finish, is being auctioned with the proceeds from this sale to be donated to a charity of the Winning Bidder's choice.

Bird began production of the Model 43 in 1952 and it quickly became a cornerstone of the two-way radio industry. Bird Electronic Corporation is a division of the Bird Technologies Group.

The auction ends on Wednesday, August 31st.
