Local radio station calls on Danes to kill muslims

A local radio station in Copenhagen has called on its listeners to throw out Muslims or alternatively kill them.

"We need to fight against Islamic terrorism either by throwing the Islamists out of Western Europe or by killing off all the fanatics or in other words by killing a large share of Muslim immigrants," said Kaj Wilhelmsen, who owns and runs the local radio station Radio Holger.

This weekend, the chairman of Copenhagen Radio Council responded by saying that he is prepared to pull the plug on Radio Holger.

But the next council meeting is still months away, and the chairman has dismissed calling an emergency meeting.
The Danish police are prepared to look into the matter, with one chief police officer describing the remarks made by Kaj Wilhelmsen as very offensive.
