No - the tower is not that high!The FCC has canceled a proposed monetary forfeiture Back on July 23, 2003, WKLC was issued a proposed fine of $13,000 because it allegedly had not maintained the tower near St. Albans, West Virginia to FCC rule. But WKLC climed that the tower was exempt from these rules because it was under 200 feet tall - and it brought in a structural engineer to prove it. He climbed to the top and dropped a tape measure. Based on the information now before it, the Enforcement Bureau decided
that no forfeiture should be imposed, (FCC)
